NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE RATES 2024-2025
The rate for 21 and over will increase by £1.26 from £10.18 to £11.44 per hour.
The rate for 18-20 year olds will increase by £1.12 from £5.25 to £6.40
The rate for under 18 years old will increase by £1.12 from £5.28 to £6.40 per hour. Apprentices are entitled to the apprentice rate if they are either:
Age 19 or under
Age 19 or over in their first year of apprenticeship.
WORKPLACE PENSION MINIMUM CONTRIBUTIONS ARE:
Employer minimum contribution: 3%
Employee minimum 5%
Total minimum 8%

EARNINGS (If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland) 2024/2025
Under your personal allowance (PA): No income tax payable
For most, £12,570
Between PA £12.571 & £37,700 (basic rate): 20%
Between PA £37,700 & £125,140 (higher rate): 40%
Over £125,141 (additional rate): %45
Employer National Insurance Contributions no longer have to be made for employers who are under the age of 21.
National Insurance Employment Allowance is £5000 per year.
